SODIPLAS Ltd was established in early 1990s as a parastatal company and its primary object was to manufacture and process plastics products, mainly bags.
In 2000, the Company was privatised and has since been operating as a private Company, BM Plastics Ltd. In 2017, the Seychelles government took a decision to reduce the amount of plastics products that are imported to the country. So most disposable plastics products were banned and only a few items were allowed. These were mainly for the food packaging businesses such as fish-processing, packaging for meat, bread, local snacks and others, such as bin-liners, etc.
With over 30 years of experience in producing and supplying plastics products, BM Plastics was able to source good quality products for its regular customers and to date many customers would only source their products from BM Plastics.
Today, BM Plastics is the Company that supplies reliable and good quality plastic bags and other flexible packaging products to customers in Seychelles.
